Scott Tracze

Scott Tracze is an Ontario-based Mediator, Qualified Arbitrator, and Independent Investigator known for his practical and economic approach to resolving disputes. Specializing in Employment and Labour relations matters, he has mediated and arbitrated over hundreds of labor-management disputes in both public and private sector and has conducted several independent, unbiased investigations of allegations of workplace misconduct in a wide range of types and sizes of organizations. He is also known for providing overall legal support, identify non-compliance issues, recommending courses of action available to several companies, and affiliates.

Leveraging over 25 years of Collective Human Resource Experience, Scott is the Owner and Founder of Octagon Mediations, a company that offers consultations on Employment and Labour relation matters with specific expertise in Workplace Investigations, Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Collective Bargaining, and Arbitration. He is also an expert in coordinating, analyzing, drafting, negotiating, and revising agreements, policies, and programs that govern employee relationships on a global level.

Scott is recognized by colleagues and associates as a leading subject matter expert in complex mediation, investigation and adjudication of employment and labour relations disputes.

Kartik Gupta

Kartik is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Valuation Analyst, an
internationally trained lawyer and a Chartered Accountant. He has over 15 years of experience providing forensic and litigation related advice to clients, legal counsels and CxOs in matters relating to commercial disputes, fraud investigations and international regulatory compliance.

Kartik has extensive experience conducting forensic investigations and investigative due diligence across various international jurisdictions such as SE Asia, Africa, Americas and the Caribbean. Kartik also has wide experience in the area of dispute and litigation support. Given his financial expertise and legal knowledge, Kartik is often engaged in quantification of damages and economic loss claims on matter relating to commercial disputes, international arbitration matters, shareholders’ disputes, expropriation claims and matrimonial disputes.


Shuchita Gupta

Shuchita is an accomplished legal professional with diversified
experience across multiple sectors and industries. Shuchita is an experienced Solicitor and Barrister, mediator, arbitrator with multi-jurisdictional experience in Canada (BC & Ontario) and India. She is a high-achieving professional having worked with a Legal 500 law firm based in a common law jurisdiction. She is resourceful, diligent, and approachable, effortlessly working with multinational clients or startups, and everything in between.

Her core area of expertise is in:

  • Commercial litigation, business laws, securities,contracts, due diligence, risk management, and dispute resolution
  • Conducting due diligence and investigations, and advising clients on matters relating to grievance management and litigation support

Andrew Livingston

Andy Livingston is a community-minded consultant and dispute resolution specialist. He is dedicated to making the world more accessible for all by assisting parties overcome conflicts outside of a court setting.

Andy is a well-respected educator and regularly pursues ongoing education to further hone his skills and knowledge.

With a lifetime of experience as a person with a disability, nearly a decade of work as a human rights investigator, and a comprehensive educational background, Andy brings a unique perspective of lived and professional experience to his work.
An expert in his field, Andy is frequently called upon by governments of all levels to consult on policy, legislation and public programs involving people with disabilities. Jasmeem Sandhu

Jasmeem is highly competent Human Resources professional who thrives in the labour relations environment. Jasmeem has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology and Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management, and a Certificate in Integrated Disability Management. She has key analytical and problem-solving skills for collaboration in team environments allowing her to find resolutions, and deliver results.

Providing expert advice and support on employee/labour relations matters, including but not limited to performance management, discipline, terminations, and workplace investigations, inclusive of harassment complaints.

Using mediation, conflict management coaching, as well a pre-mediation coaching and facilitation, Jasmeem helps clients and managers build their conflict competence and turn negative disputes into more productive opportunities for a positive outcome. Dedicated to improving organizational attitude and morale, along with improving productivity, reducing absenteeism, and reducing risk of litigation.
